Our designers Hannah Litten and Charlie Kent had a blast at the Rainbow Run in Prospect Park Reading for Helen & Douglas House Hospice in Oxford on Sunday 22nd June.
Both Charlie and Hannah are keen runners. Charlie ran the Reading half marathon a couple of years ago and Hannah is in training for her first half marathon later this year. Race training can be quite gruelling so for some light relief they decided to run a 3k Rainbow Run for Helen & Douglas House Hospice in Oxford. These are brilliant events where you come dressed all in white and finish in all the colours of the rainbow as you get showered with different colours of powdered paint along the route ,
As you can see from the photos Hannah are Charlie being our designers went all out to get covered in a myriad of colours. If you look closely you can even see some Radiant Orchid, Pantone colour for 2014! Lucky for them the weather was glorious.
They also raised money for a great cause. Helen House opened in 1982 as the world’s first children’s hospice. Douglas House opened in 2004 specifically for young adults aged 16-35. The two hospice houses offer a host of specialist medical and practical care for children, young adults and their families in and around the Thames Valley.
Congratulations to our two lovely ladies, we’re proud of you!
